Dolce & Gabbana

Did you know DG has junior clothing? I was on the site this past weekend, recovering from a turkey coma, and the junior site is almost too much cuteness to handle, you can check it out here..

NOT that you would need to buy little tots clothing at D&G, I mean really --- we all know this look can be achieved with a simple trip to the Disney store and Gap Kids.

Ok back to big girl clothing...

The fusion of Leopard, Gray, brown and Plaid - I AM IN LOVE.
Very chic, modern twist. I would love to do a library or den with this fabric scheme....

Of course Madonna is featured on the site here in all her cougarific glory.
I love Madonna, but I think it's time to pass the torch...maybe to Lourdes? Keep it in the family.

....haven't had time to look but does DG do make-up? Sign me up for this lip color!

Berry Croc, Lady purse and shoes....loving.

Sisley, Townhouse Revamp

Christine d’Ornano London townhouse is just fantastic, I love the eclectic, playful and "acquired" look of her London Town House. Don't you...?
These modernist chairs by Joe Colombo looks like it could be straight from the Jetsons living room. Still, I am kind of in love with it! It looks very enveloping and I am loving the juxtaposition to the antique ormolu -encrusted desk. Christine runs the UK division of her family's company, Sisley so I am sure she spends many days at this desk...
...the painting is by Marc Quinn and it really gives a punch of color to the space - it demands attention.

Joe Colombo, Elda Chair
Definitely interesting....

I need a round table in my life! The yellow chair are just a burst of sunshine.

Cuteness

I love fabric walls...it's so French! This is a pattern from Osburn & Little, used in her little girls room. Layered, yet modern.

This french wine tasting table, with the industrial lights is just so fun and casual - perfect for everyday.

Here are some of my favorite "liquid gold" products from Sisley

Christine d’Ornano used to be a fashion buyer for Saks -- and as you see she has great style.
Christine, if your reading this please let me know where you found that royal blue dress - it's fabulous - just like your townhouse ;)

Scent Bombs

Last night, while trying to find the perfect accessories for the below powder room I just finished, I came across Cire Trudon Candles at Barneys. Since 2000, I have been a loyal Red Current Votive fan, have a couple shipped to me every couple months. Until, now....Cire Trudon candles are just magical and as Design Sponge perfectly describes "Scent Bombs"

Install from last week, dining room & living room photos to follow. Custom shades for these sconces, in a Shantung Silk, to match the ground of the paper -- should be in soon. The vanity is a custom design, by KMD.

Cire Trudon, Est. 1643, is the oldest candle maker in the world and apparently the first candles for Marie Antoinette and Napolean...

Love the apothecary like display...

Cire Trudon boutique, Bond Street New York

Happy Friday! Off to another install :)! Cheers!
