I have a couple of very modern/industrial projects I am working on right now. Recently was was turned onto Lindsey Adelmans lighting designs. Very beautiful and interesting pieces! This dining room above reminds me of the dining room/ dinner scene from the Bird Cage - you should watch the trailer - it always makes me laugh!

Remember the Time

I remember the time I saw Michael glide across a lite floor in the Billy Jean video and my whole family would get up and try to do the moon walk.

I remember the time I saw the thriller video and we would sit around watching MTV hoping it would come on again.

I remember the time my neighbors got the "making of thriller" - I needed to beg my Mom to let John and I watch it! I was successful, I think we watched it at least 10 times!

I remember the time I signed up for dance lesson at age 4 thinking maybe someday I could dance like Michael Jackson!

I remember all the times watching Michael thinking there will never be another like him to come again, he was beyond phenomenal

I remember all the times I feel in love with MJ on stage

Do you remember the time....?

Instead of collecting tons of Pellegrino and Poland Spring Bottles, you have this one gadget for all your water needs. I love the slick design! This with be my next home purchase!

I am using this tent for an outdoor space on a roof-deck in the back bay. I did large pillows in this Zebra Print, Trina Turk fabric, see below! I am working on another smaller outdoor area with CB2 outdoor pieces and more Trina Turk fabric sprinkled in! SO FUN!

THE DOOR, MILES and Summer Intern Apps

Miles Redd is such a stud! I love his NYC door and I am looking to recreate this in a project I am working on!

I can really can relate to him, especially the part about the new blackberry (only I got a iPhone, when I went to the dark side recently) and about not really being naturally drawn to technology.

...also the part about how there are no absolutes, skirted tables (yuck, sorry if this offends you) and about having thick skin.

I am looking for a part-time summer intern. You could be an interior design student, an art student, any kind of student.....who is interested in interior design and learning the business.

Two days would be nice, however I am flexible. A day of administrative work, I will teach you how -- then a day with me shopping at the design center and beyond. It helps if you are organized, a hard worker and ready to have some fun! This is interior design after all!

*You must be able to carry 20 pound designer shopping bags - they are cute, don't worry!
